I thought District 9 turned into what the Halo movie was supposed to be originally. If so, that's good, because at least something good came out of Halo. Lulz.

District 9 is directed by the dude who was originally supposed to direct the Halo movie, and who directed those live action commercials that add up to one short film prior to Halo 3 being released. I think I heard the Halo movie got offered to some tool recently and may be going back into development.
To the main topic however, I say, what about Wing Commander? |

Meh. I like how they cant even stick to the source game, they have to completely rip off the Assassins Creed tower-spin shot.
Im waiting to see what Warcraft ends up as. Its got definite potential, good story and a talented director (Sam Raimi) |

Far more interested in if the Everquest movie will ever get off the ground. Not sure if anything has happened with it since, but last I heard the writer from 300 was involved.

I'd love to see a Half-Life movie, but only if it was completely loyal to the source, unlike the countless other "tie-in" movies. I don't think the rumor that Halo turned into District 9 was true. I'm pretty sure Peter Jackson was supposed to direct the Halo movie, and it got dropped because of interaction between Bungie, MS, and himself; he dropped the project.
