Does anyone here actually use twitter?

I don't really get the point of it.

This is by far the web 2.0 'fad' that makes the least sense to me that even I don't know anyone in real life that actually uses it.

I made an account with a fake name to try it before it was big, but I didn't know anyone on it, and didn't really need it, so I stopped using it.

I do see the point though, and why people would use it, it's pretty straight forward.

I think it could be a cool utility for a few small situations that could possibly arise. But I don't see why it's so popular.

I know the webcomickers are using it to let the readers keep tabs on their progress. Handy in that sense. I have no reason to use it though. Until I get some initiative, design a web-page, get some scripts down and make my own webcomic. I need a fan base too...
